Engineers worked with the original tapes to deliver this re-mastered and re-vamped 10th Anniversary Edition that will give fans the clarity and quality that earlier technology just couldn't produce. You have to hear it to believe it.

“How can I even start? A ten-year anniversary for Squiddick’s seminal, ground-breaking first album, the Awkwarium Tapes? God, those were the halcyon days, let me tell ya. The whole band came in and recorded for what must have been weeks, but felt a lot like 45 minutes. I was doin’ a lot of Ayahuasca durin’ that time, so time gets kinda wobbly for me ‘round then, what can I tell ya? But the kids in the band were real professionals, just knew exactly what they wanted from each recording session, really knew how to make you feel like you were underwater or whatever. I just came in at the end and put the ol 'Lower Lip' touch on it at the end. That gold dust. That Kauffman sparkle. This thing had 'Solid Gold Record' written all over it, and of course I was right. Changed the music world forever. So I guess I gotta say, from myself and from the band, wherever those crazy kids are now: You’re welcome.”
